MGA Goes to the Aquarium | 2024

Join us for an outing to SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

We're taking a field trip! The MGA invites all graduate students for an afternoon under the sea at the Melbourne Aquarium.

This is a family friendly event, so those wishing to attend are welcome to bring family members so long as they book for all attendees.

Even better, kids get in for free! Adult tickets will also be available at a heavily discounted price, as general admission usually costs $47 a pop for adults. See detailed prices below:

  • Monash graduate students: $5

  • Other adults (family and friends): $15

  • Children (aged 3-15): free

  • Infants (under 3): free

Some things to note:

  • Graduate students can only book for one other non-Monash adult per party.
  • We will meet directly at the venue, so make sure you research transportation options beforehand.
  • Check-in for this event will run from 1:00pm - 1:30pm. If you arrive any later, you may be denied entry.
  • You are able to bring strollers to the venue.
  • There will be no refunds unless we have to cancel the event.

Full terms and conditions are available here.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
