MGA services & events

Social events

Throughout the year the MGA organises social events, free lunches, off-campus trips and activities for graduate students. Most events are free of charge but where there is a fee, the MGA subsidises the cost for Monash graduate students. Browse through our what's on page and mark your diaries!

Advocacy

All Monash graduate students are welcome to seek free advice and advocacy from the MGA on any issue related to their study. Our advocacy service is free, confidential and runs completely independently from the University.

Work for the MGA

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you!
