We know how important it is for you to have the space and facilities you need to complete your studies and research effectively.  That is why the MGA has lobbied the university to provide spaces on every campus that are especially for graduates – a series of special undergraduate-free zones!

Each campus has a graduate-specific lounge and study area, with facilities including lockers, private meeting rooms, laptop charging pods, study booths, couches, printers, scanners and kitchen facilities.

The MGA provides complimentary coffee, tea, milk and the daily papers in our lounges, along with the occasional surprise snack and free exam-time massages to help you de-stress!

All our spaces are open 24/7 and accessed via swipe card.  So whether you have a last-minute assignment due or just want to get away from the lab for a while and have a coffee with friends, head over to an MGA lounge.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
