Background

I enrolled in the Joint PhD Program between Monash University and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2020. My main research area is nano-drug delivery, and I am specifically working on developing nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems for cardiovascular diseases.

Before joining the PhD program, I worked extensively in the Formulation and Development department for the pharmaceutical industry. I graduated with first honors in my Master of Pharmacy degree from Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, India in 2018. I completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pune in 2016.
During my undergraduate studies at the University of Pune, I served as a general representative for my college. I represented my college at the university level and worked on several issues related to student welfare. This experience further motivated me to volunteer and contribute to my community.

I joined the Monash Graduate Association with the goal of helping the graduate student community. I am committed to working with the MGAEC to address graduate students’ major and minor challenges. I also plan to gradually increase the participation and awareness of Monash graduate students about their rights and opportunities, which are enabled through the capabilities of the MGA.

Personal Interests

In my personal life, I enjoy reading, especially history-related books. I also love to travel and explore new and unseen places. I hope to travel the world and make new friends and memories.
