Background

Selamat sejahtera, good day and 你好 !! I am a 1st year PhD engineering student from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.

As an elected member of MGA’s executive committee for the 2023 / 2024 session, I am humbled and eager to serve in providing assistance and also the platform for students to voice their opinions / suggestions in improving the quality of both learning and research experience in Monash University. Growing up in a multicultural society like Malaysia, I hope to share and celebrate cultural diversity with members and staff in improving our hospitality, services and events for graduate students.

Please feel free to reach out to me on any queries or if you need a buddy to chat with. It is an exciting opportunity to learn as well as exploring different disciplinary backgrounds together as part of continuous improvement and forming safe spaces for discussion.

Looking forward to meeting with you soon in our events and volunteering activities.

Personal Interests

Research, swimming, grocery shopping, learning new languages and cultures as well as attending beginner’s theatre training with MUST.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
