About

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Postgraduate Committee (CEEPC) is an organization led by students for the students!

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Postgraduate Committee (CEEPC) is an organization led by students for the students! Our mission is to serve the interests and well-being of all postgraduate students and sustain a respectful and vibrant community in our department.

To achieve this mission, the CEEPC regularly runs departmental events that promote the networking between all postgraduate students and the academic staff. With nearly 200 postgraduate students studying Civil Engineering at Monash, these events are full of fun and opportunities to interact with students from different research groups. In addition to academic and social events, we also voice the students’ concerns in meetings at departmental, faculty and university levels.

The CEEPC is composed of a diverse team, containing both domestic and international students, masters and PhDs, equal gender representation and at least one general representative from each of the five civil engineering groups (i.e. Geomechanics, Resources, Structures, Transport and Water/Environmental).

At present, the CEEPC comprises 19 postgraduate students. You can get to know them in the bios below! We meet once a month to discuss plans, implement and communicate the CEEPC's mission.

If you have any feedback for the CEEPC, or if you’d like to join the committee, let us know! You can have a chat with us by emailing civil.postgrad@monash.edu.

The MGA team

Got a question or request about anything at all? Get in contact with one of our staff members – we’d love to hear from you. Alternatively, drop by the MGA office at Clayton or Caulfield so we can help!

Meet your current elected representatives

Curious to know who’s representing you at the moment? Get to know your elected representatives, what they do and how you can get involved.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
