We create free, fun-filled opportunities for you to get to know your campus or digital environment and make some new connections with other students.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To ensure the health and safety of all staff, volunteers and participants, physical distancing, regular hand sanitisation and QR code check-in and/or event registration are required for all on-campus events. You must always carry a face mask with you when you leave home unless you have a lawful reason not to. It is strongly recommended you wear a face mask whenever you cannot keep 1.5 metres distance from others. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and do not attend any on-campus events.

Consider getting paired with an experienced graduate coursework student mentor from your faculty, who will guide you to not only survive but thrive through your first year. The MGA Coursework Mentor Program is a 12 week peer to peer mentor program that is open to all NEW graduate coursework (Masters) students enrolled in their first semester.

HDR Mentor Program

Are you a new HDR (PhD & Masters by Research) at Monash University looking to land on your feet sooner than later? The MGA HDR Mentor Program is a wonderful opportunity for new students to benefit from the kind of advice and support that only current student peers can offer. It’s a great way to network too! The program will run online over a 12 week period and all meetings will be conducted online every two weeks.
