Are you ready to complete your thesis but unsure about the final steps?

Join our webinar designed to guide you through the crucial process of finishing and submitting your thesis with confidence.

Dr Emma Foster is an early career academic-neurologist at The Alfred Hospital, where she also completed her PhD in May 2021. Her research program focuses on epilepsy and headache medicine, and she is developing skills in health economics and outcomes research.

She is the inaugural recipient of the Monash Partners STAR Clinician Fellowship and has 50 career publications, including in The Lancet Neurology (2024) and JAMA Neurology (2024).

In this seminar, Emma will walk you through the Monash requirements for submitting your thesis and share her experiences writing a thesis, primarily by publications. She will also guide you on planning your next steps after submission. Definitely not one to miss for students wrapping up their research degree!

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
