MGA Clayton Lounge Closure Notice | 10 Jan to 23 Feb

Renovations in progress!

The MGA Clayton Lounge will be closed from Friday, 10 January to Sunday, 23 February. We are aiming for a reopening on Monday, 24 February, in time for Orientation Week!

During this closure, the lounge, kitchenette, consumables (coffee/tea), lockers, and meeting rooms will be unavailable.

Students can still access 24/7 spaces on Clayton campus, such as the PhD Hub and Graduate Student Hub. Please note that these spaces are not managed by MGA. For more details, visit this web page. Additionally, MGA Caulfield Lounge remains open for student use.

This renovation project has been shaped by the invaluable feedback and ideas students have shared over the past months. We are very excited to reopen this refreshed space designed to meet your needs and vision.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this exciting transformation!

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
