ChatGPT and other generative AI tools are amazing, but we have to be careful about how we use them at Monash University.
Have you used ChatGPT to answer your questions, and been amazed at its response? The MGA Advocacy team is starting to see students seeking help after using it for assignments in a way that is prohibited at Monash.
Don’t stress, you can use generative AI technologies at Monash, but there are a few rules and boundaries you need to know. Here are two tips:
- When you submit an assignment on Moodle, the rules and boundaries will be explained. Read these instructions carefully.
- Read through, and get familiar with, the information on Monash’s Learning and Teaching page here.
