Speed Friending @ Caulfield

Get to know your peers at the social event of the season!

We know that making new friends can be daunting, so let us help you! The MGA is hosting a 'speed friending' event at the beginning of the semester so that you can get to know your peers. You'll have a couple minutes to introduce yourself to each partner, with time for larger group interaction at the end.

Date: Wednesday, 24 July
Time: 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Venue: MGA Graduate Lounge (Level 2, Building C), Caulfield Campus

 

 

 

MGA Health and Wellbeing Guidelines for Events

  • Attend only when well: If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.
  • Practice good hygiene: Please maintain good hygiene practices. This includes regular hand washing or using the hand sanitiser which will be readily available at the venue.
  • Mask availability: Masks will be available for attendees who request them.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you!
