HDR Trvia Night 2024 | Battle of the Brains | 27 June

Social

Flex your mental muscles at our infamous annual trivia night

The Faculty of Science's Mighty Morphin' Power Cascade Arrangers has held the championship title for two years in a row now. Will this dream team reclaim the crown in 2024, or will they be put to the test by a new up-and-coming contender? There's only one way to find out!

It's time to assemble your team of (up to) 8 members armed with facts, knowledge or, at the very least, a good attitude to claim the prize.

What if your ideal trivia squad is unavailable? You can still sign up below using the solo or duo link. The MGA will work our magic, mixing and matching to create a potentially elite trivia team of grad students!

What can you expect on the night?

  • A congregation of teams of 4-8.
  • Prizes valued at over $300 (categories include first place, best team name, wooden spoon and spontaneous spot prizes).
  • Professional trivia hosts - we're not messing around!
  • Pizza.
  • Up to 3 beverages (alcoholic or not) of your choice.

This event is for HDR students (PhD and Masters by Research). Be sure to register by the end of the day on Sunday, 23 June.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
