HDR Webinar | Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Peak Performance

Join our HDR Professional and Scientific Development Seminar Series!

The modern world is becoming increasingly distracted, stressed and fast-paced. Unsurprisingly, mindfulness, which is a method of managing stress and focusing attention, has emerged in recent decades as an 'antidote' to this modern malady. In this practical and experiential workshop we will explore the principles of mindfulness and how it can help us to foster well-being and to function at a high level.

Professor Craig Hassed has taught at Monash University since 1989, is coordinator of mindfulness programs across Monash and is the Director of Education at the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies (M3CS). Craig has published 15 books and is regularly invited to speak in Australia and overseas in health, educational, government and corporate contexts. He is patron of Meditation Australia, a regular media commentator and was awarded the OAM for services to Medicine.

Work for the MGA

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.

The Monash Graduate Association (MGA) is the representative body for all graduate research and coursework students enrolled at Monash University. So, what sets us apart from the University services? The MGA is an independent, not-for-profit association governed by graduate students, for graduate students. Our primary aim is to be there for you! If you can’t find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
