While all of us wish when starting a Masters that nothing will go wrong, that is often not the case. Sometimes you will encounter problems and issues you do not expect, and a speedy and appropriate response can make the difference between relief and disaster.

With stories based on real-life student experiences, MGA Advocacy Manager Ying will run you through some of the most common unexpected situations faced by Masters students and give you the tools to manage and respond to the unexpected. Prevent small obstacles from derailing your hard-work and progress, and help not only yourselves but your friends around you.

Ying has worked with the MGA since 2018 and has extensive experience advising and supporting graduate students. She understands the challenge of navigating a complicated system like Monash, and is committed to helping ensure all graduate students receive the best possible support.

Pizza will be served at the session.

Registrations will open 2 weeks before event date.
