Course: Master of Management

Faculty: Business and Economics

Campus: Caulfield

Can you tell us a bit about yourself, your background and your area of study?

I’m an international postgraduate student currently completing a Master of Global Business and a Master of Management at Monash Caulfield. I also serve as a Student Ambassador for Monash Business School. Before coming to Monash, I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration, where I developed skills in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and data-informed decision-making.

What is your role within the MGAEC, and what are you hoping to achieve over your term in office?

I am serving as the Caulfield Campus Representative on the MGA Executive Committee. In this role, I hope to strengthen the connection between Caulfield graduate students and the services, spaces and support that MGA already provides.

My priorities for this term are to: actively listen to the diverse experiences of coursework and research students; surface those insights to the Committee in a structured way; and help co-design initiatives that make MGA more visible, accessible and responsive at Caulfield.

Ultimately, I want more graduate students to feel that there is always a place on campus where they are seen, heard and supported.

What motivated you to join the executive committee? What drives you to make a difference in your graduate student community?

My motivation comes from lived experience. The MGA Student Lounge and events have been a constant source of calm and community for me, especially during exam periods and moments of uncertainty as an international student. At the same time, I noticed how many students either didn’t know about these resources or didn’t feel confident enough to access them. Joining the Executive Committee is my way of turning that observation into action.

I am driven by a personal ambition to build a career in management consulting and social impact, and I see MGAEC as a place where I can practise those skills in service of my peers, by advocating for their needs, building bridges between groups, and helping ensure that every graduate student feels that Monash is a place where they belong.
