SPHPM Doctoral Student Representative Committee

ABOUT

The Doctoral Student Representative Committee is a representative body for all students enrolled in a doctoral program within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University.

The SPHPM-DSRC exists to connect and support students at all stages of their degree. The aims and objectives of the DSRC include supporting and protecting the welfare of students, providing guidance to Doctoral students in navigating graduate research education, facilitating opportunities to connect students, promoting social connectedness and student wellbeing, and creating a sense of belonging and mutual support.

Some highlights over the past couple of years include the Annual SPHPM PhD Student Conference (held in 2024 and 2025), an Annual 1-day Road Trip (held in 2023 and 2024), and the Annual Welcome Back and End of Year Events! Other events in the academic calendar organised by the DSRC include coffee check-ins, winter movie nights and student outings near SPHPM as well as in the CBD.

Please do not hesitate to contact the DSRC if you would like to attend any events, join the committee or if you have any issues/queries:
