Life can deal unexpected challenges sometimes. If you are struggling, the MGA can help support you with a one-off grant.

The MGA is a not-for-profit student association. We recognise that graduate students may experience financial hardship due to unexpected or unforeseen circumstances and require additional supports. The grants in the welfare assistance program aims to help graduate students meet the essential needs of everyday living and studying, as well as one-off emergency situations.

Unlike a loan, a grant does not need to be repaid. The MGA is funding this program from Student Service Amenities Fees.
