MGA Peninsula Grad Pantry Pick-up

Supporting our Peninsula grads with everyday basics.

Every fortnight starting in Febuary 2026, the MGA will be restocking our Peninsula Graduate Student Pantry with a variety of household essentials and supplies to support you through the year.

The pantry will usually be stocked by 2pm on Mondays fortnightly, so you’re welcome to swing by our newly refurbished Straun House anytime after to collect what you need. Whether you’ve got a late class or are just passing through, it’s a great opportunity to pick up some goodies to take home and give yourself a wellbeing boost.

This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting graduate students making sure you have access to the little things that help you feel cared for and ready to tackle your studies.

Questions? Please contact mga-events@monash.edu.

If you’re facing financial hardship, please know that MGA offers a Welfare Assistance Program and other support programs to assist you. We also have a range of support guides with lists of resources for financial, mental health, and academic success to support you through your graduate studies journey.

MGA acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live, the Wurundjeri peoples and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.

We acknowledge the importance of Indigenous knowledge in the Academy. As a community of researchers, teachers, professional staff and students, we are privileged to work and learn every day with Indigenous colleagues and partners.
