The MGA advocacy service is going on tour!

Our advocates, who provide students with support and guidance on a variety of challenges relating to their graduate experience, are now making dedicated, regularly scheduled visits to the Peninsula and Parkville campuses.

What is the MGA advocacy service?

When things aren’t going according to plan, there is someone you can turn to. Our advocacy service is

  • free;
  • confidential;
  • completely independent from the University.

Our advocates provide advice and options, but you make the decision as to how to proceed, and we’ll support you all the way. As we are not part of the University, we do all we can to help you get the best outcome possible.

You can learn more about the advocacy service here

When will the advocates be visiting these campuses?

They'll be making fortnightly visits on Thursdays. So far, we have the following dates for Semester 2, 2025 are lined up.

*Please note that dates are subject to change.

Feel free to drop in or get in touch before your visit by emailing us at mga-advocacy@monash.edu

MGA acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
