The HDR Seminar Series, hosted by the MGA, offers support for personal, academic, and professional development among HDR students. Topics will explore aspects of the HDR journey, and what may come afterwards. Each seminar is designed to equip candidates with insights, strategies, and connections that enrich their overall research experience.

In this extended HDR Seminar/Workshop, Dr Tullio Rossi from 'Animate Your Science' will share his expertise in designing research posters that stand out. Moving beyond dense and cluttered layouts, Dr Tullio will guide participants on how to communicate your research visually, in a way that is clear, and memorable. Participants will learn strategies for structuring an effective poster using graphic design principles, and presenting their research in a way that sparks meaningful conversations at conferences. The principles covered in this workshop extend well beyond posters, with these same design and communication skills highly transferable to conference presentations, graphical abstracts, and other research visuals.

Whether you're preparing for your first conference or looking to elevate how you present your research, this interactive workshop will provide actionable tips to help your work capture attention and leave a lasting impression.

Registration required.
