The HDR Seminar Series, hosted by the MGA, offers support for personal, academic, and professional development among HDR students. Topics will explore aspects of the HDR journey, and what may come afterwards. Each seminar is designed to equip candidates with insights, strategies, and connections that enrich their overall research experience.
In this session, you will gain a clear understanding of PhD expectations and requirements, the services available through the MGA, ranging from trips to the zoo, to what to do if things go wrong, and practical strategies for success throughout your candidature.
This seminar will also address effective communication and relationship-building with supervisors and colleagues, with particular attention to cross-cultural contexts. A Q&A session will follow the presentations, with light refreshments provided afterwards.
Registration required.
Please refer to our General Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales on our Governing Documents page.
