THE MGA CLAYTON OFFICE

The MGA office is open for advocacy needs, general enquiries, feedback and requests. Our friendly staff members would love to have a chat with you! All graduate students are welcome to visit the MGA office anytime during its opening hours.
 
We are located at Level 1, Campus Centre, 21 Chancellors Walk, Clayton 3168.

THE MGA GRADUATE LOUNGE

As an enrolled graduate student, your student card automatically allows you swipe card access to graduate student spaces on Monash campuses. Our graduate lounges are open to graduate students 24/7.
 

Level 1, Campus Centre

Facilities include:
  • Full kitchen including microwave, filtered hot/cold water dispenser, fridge
  • Coffee/tea, milk and refreshments
  • Couches, tables and chairs
  • Piano (headphones available for loan from MGA office)
  • Gaming system
  • Device charging table
  • Mini free library
  • Bookable lockers
  • Comfortable lounge area, three small bookable meeting rooms for group work, desks and lunch tables
 
For after hours access, enter the Campus Centre by the exterior door next to Guzman Y Gomez, located on the southern side of the building (South-Eastern corner). You must tap your M-Pass to enter this door after hours.

MGA student advocacy and academic support is a free and confidential service for all Monash Graduate students.

We can provide guidance and advice on any issue relating to your study.

MGA DEVICE AND LAPTOP LOAN PROGRAM

Need a device for your studies? Or just for fun? The MGA has you covered!

Students can borrow MGA devices for short-term use, ranging from 1 day to 2 weeks, depending on the device.

BOOK A LOCKER

Lockers are available for graduate students on Caulfield campus, for year-long use.

Bookings for lockers open in late February and closes in late November for the end of year holiday period.

Open 24/7 to all postgraduate students

PHD HUB

Ground floor, Hollman Hall, 27 Sports Walk

Open 24/7 to all PhD students

Facilities include:

  • A kitchenette with microwave and fridge
  • Filtered water (hot and cold)
  • Lounge area
  • Study spaces
  • Writing-up desks for end-stage Phd students
  • Hot desks for day study use
 
 
 

LIBRARIES

Hargrave-Andrew Library

The Hargrave-Andrew Library is located at 13 College Walk on Clayton campus. This library supports faculties of Engineering, Information Technology, Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, and Science.
 

Law Library

The Law Library is located at 15 Ancora Imparo Way on Clayton campus. This library supports the teaching and research in the Faculty of Law, the Department of Business Law, Taxation, and other areas where law is the subject of teaching and research.
 

Sir Louis Matheson Library

The Matheson Library is located at 40 Exhibition Walk on Clayton campus. This library supports faculties of Arts, Business and Economics, and Education.
