Shut Up and Write

Need motivation to get some writing done? Join a group of HDR students every Tuesday over Zoom to spend 1.5 hours writing in 25 minute blocks with 5 minute breaks in between. Keep an eye on the MGA’s what’s on page for details.

HDR socials

Join our monthly gatherings for HDR students to connect at Clayton. We also run events like the Peninsula lunch social, AMREP coffee social and pub night as well as the Hudson and MMC coffee catch-up. Keep an eye out for future events via our what's on page.

HDR writing rooms on Caulfield

Looking for a quiet place to sit and write? We have a limited number of HDR writing rooms available on the Caulfield campus.

Support for parents

Are you a graduate student balancing the challenges of study and parenting? Join the MGA for a relaxed social catch-up, designed especially for graduate student parents! Join the MGA on the first Wednesday of every month for a relaxed social catch-up, designed especially for graduate student parents! The next one will be on Wednesday, 3 September and you can find future catch-ups on our what’s on page. We also have a family meeting room at Caulfield, which you can book for when it’s your turn to mind the kids but you really need to get that assignment or thesis chapter finished.
