Position Available: Marketing and Social Media Assistant

Are you a graduate student who loves crafting eye-catching content, jumping on trends, and bringing ideas to life online? Looking to gain real-world marketing experience in a flexible role that fits around your studies?

We are looking for someone just like you to join our team as a casual Marketing and Social Media Assistant. In this role, you will help shape how we engage with out graduate community, grow our online presence, and tell our story in fun and impactful ways.

In this casual role (7.5 - 15 hours per week), you will report to the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator and support the planning, creation, scheduling, and management of content across MGA's digital platforms.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist in content scheduling and management
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to direct messages received via MGA's Instagram and Facebook inboxes
  • Attend events and assist with filming and editing social media content

What we're looking for:

  • Understanding of marketing, communications, or related field
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail
  • Some experience filming and editing photo and video content using tools such as Canva and/or Capcut

This position is part of the MGA Graduate Student Employment Program and is only open to currently enrolled Monash Graduate Students.
