The Graduate Research and Policy Officer will support our Research Manager and bring graduate insights to life, while also coordinating and supporting graduate student representatives across Monash University committees and boards.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the design, delivery, and analysis of research projects and student surveys
- Support policy work by preparing submissions, drafting responses, and recommending changes
- Coordinate, manage, and provide ongoing support to our network of student representatives
- Work alongside the MGAEC to develop and implement action plans, fostering strong student engagement
Who you are:
You're driven by data, keen on policy, and passionate about student voices. You bring:
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification and/or relevant training and experience in the higher education section
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
- Excellent writing, communication, and organisational abilities
- Experience in advocacy or policy work
- Proficiency with tools like Excel, survey platforms (e.g. Qualtrics), or data visualisation software (e.g. Tableau)
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines with ease
You will work under the direction of the Research Manager. This position is a full-time position and based at Caulfield campus. Some work from home may be accommodated.
