Join our team as an Events Officer!

The Events Officer is a full-time, permanent position based at Monash University's Caulfield campus. Reporting to the MGA's Events Manager, the role is central to coordinating the MGA's flagship student events and programs, providing end-to-end logistical coordination, and overseeing the MGA Volunteer Program.
The role contributes to broader student engagement activities such as giveaway programs, voucher initiatives and small-scale student-led activations, while completing the administrative and operational tasks required for successful program delivery.
What you'll bring:

Experience in student support, engagement or related administrative roles

Sound organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to follow established procedures, manage routine tasks and meet deadlines

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – ability to interact effectively and courteously with students, volunteers, staff and external stakeholders

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work

Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, databases and other standard applications
