MGA Lecturer of the Year Award (LOTY) Nomination Form

Recognising excellence in graduate coursework teaching


 

Here is some important information to know before submitting a nomination.

 

Nomination form:

The nomination form is broken down into 4 main sections:

Section 1 - Details of the student nominator making the nomination.

Section 2 - Details of the lecturer you wish to nominate.

Section 3 - Describe how the lecturer has supported your learning and overall student experience (split into 4 parts).

Section 4 - Open comment.

 

Judging:

Entries will be judged by a subcommittee of graduate coursework students from the MGAEC.

 

Announcement of the winner:

The MGA Lecturer of the Year Award will be announced at the end of the year, if not early in the following year. The Lecturer of the Year will receive a framed certificate, and will be permanently listed on the MGA Lecturer of the Year Hall of Fame. All other nominees will receive a certificate of recognition from the MGA.

 

Applications open: Monday, 1 June 2026 9:00AM AEST

Applications close: Friday, 23 October 2026 5:00PM AEST
