Whether you’ve never picked up a dumbbell or simply feel a little overwhelmed by the weight room, our Introduction to the Gym session is designed for female students who want to build a fitness routine that feels approachable, empowering and fun.

What you’ll learn

🏋️‍♀️ Get to know the equipment - learn how to safely set up and use common gym equipment, so you can walk onto the gym floor knowing what to do.

💪🏼 Build your confidence - ask all those questions you’ve been too embarrassed to ask (there’s no such thing as a silly question!) in a friendly, judgement-free environment.

🏁 Know where to start - get simple, achievable advice to help you begin your fitness journey and create a routine that works for you.

👯 Meet your gym buddies - connect with other students who are also getting started—you might even find your next workout partner!

What to bring

  • Wear comfortable workout gear and closed-toe shoes, and bring a workout towel and drink bottle.
  • Spaces are limited to keep the session small, hands-on and supportive, so register early to secure your spot!
