Every year the MGA runs a survey of all HDR students, with each year focused on a different theme.

The past three years the themes have been: 2021: Satisfaction, 2022: Motivations and Practice, 2023: Health, Family and Finances.

The feedback and subsequent recommendations presented here are the result of these surveys and the recent Advance HE survey on HDR student satisfaction in Australia. The recommendations made here are designed to improve the overall PhD experience and increase student satisfaction.

We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
