The MGA's 2026 Grand Masquerade Ball

From the canals of Venice to the halls of Versailles, the ancient tradition of the masked ball is coming to Melbourne's Plaza Ballroom.

Leave your identity at the door and join us for an evening of mystery and magnetism this spring.

Underneath the Juliet balconies and dazzling chandeliers of a baroque ballroom, we summon you to arrive in disguise, donning a mask of your choosing which best expresses ~ or obscures ~ your true self.

In the interest of intrigue, we won't say much more, bar a few important (and secret) details below:

Early bird tickets: $80 (on sale from 14 July to 24 July)
General tickets for Monash grad students: $100 (on sale from 27 July)
Guest tickets (plus ones): $150

~ A three-course meal: set entreé, alternate main course with complimentary sides, set dessert
~ Beverages including beer, wine and soft drinks served from 6:00pm until 11:00pm
