I am in the first year of my PhD candidature at Monash University through the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. I am also an Endocrinologist, having completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Medicine in 2013 through Monash University and further training for specialisation through Monash Health thereafter.
My motivation for joining the MGAEC was a desire to provide representation for the enormously diverse group of graduate research students enrolled at Monash University. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the Research Representative for the 2021/2022 term. It can be incredibly challenging to navigate the requirements of a graduate research degree and the challenges of personal and professional lives; I aim to provide a voice to effect change on issues that are pertinent for research student development and wellbeing.
I love combining travelling with hiking and cannot wait to be get back to exploring the international outdoors! More locally, I enjoy indoor rock climbing. I also enjoy board games and curling up with a book.
