Work for the MGA | Web Content Editor

We are looking for a current Monash graduate student with a working knowledge of basic HTML and CSS to help us migrate our website to a new platform. Could this be you? Apply now!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Monash graduate student with experience in website development, including backend systems and HTML coding. The incumbent will assist us with the migration of content from the current MGA website to a new MGA website, which will involve editing HTML code using appropriate software.

The role is part of our Graduate Employment program and is only available to currently enrolled Monash graduate students. 

This is a short-term position that will suit those looking for casual employment during the semester break. Applicants must be available to work in the Caulfield office.


Skills required

  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge with basic HTML and CSS.
  • Functional understanding of site construction, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot coding issues.

Desired

  • Prior experience working with a content management system.

Employment details

  • Location: Monash Caulfield campus
  • Employment type: Casual / 25 – 35 hours per week / Project-based appointment over 4 – 8 weeks
  • Loaded hourly rate: $45.61 per hour (HEW 3) +  SGC superannuation (10.5%)

The MGA employs Monash graduate students to fill the receptionist roles at the Clayton and Caulfield offices. When a vacancy arises we advertise the position through our email newsletter and on our website.
