Welcome

Get ready for a week filled with activities and events that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year, we’re exploring four SDGs that impact our graduate students; 1 – No Poverty, 2 – Zero Hunger, 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, and 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.

There will be plenty of opportunities to connect with like-minded graduate students, learn from experts in the field, and make a positive impact on the world. Join in the excitement, make new friends, and contribute to a more sustainable future for all.

The MGA is offering all our graduate student groups and clubs an opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $300 as part of MGA Sustainability Week.

The only criterion is to host an event for graduate students that is aligned one of the four UN SDGs we are focussing on. For example, you could host a mindfulness or gardening workshop, a networking event or run a lunchtime walk with coffee and cake. Get creative and apply!

Please submit your event proposal and budget to mga-gradgroups@monash.edu

What other Grad Groups are doing with their grant?
