We'\;re collaborating with Monash Careers and Employability to help you figure o ut what comes after your PhD.

In this series of three workshops\, w e'\;ll discuss the following topics:

to stay or leave acade mia
identifying transferrable critical skills
nailing you r job hunt

In each session\, you can expect external presente rs who have navigated the same journey. This event will be offered in-per son at Clayton\, and online.

Dr. Lachlan Dalli will join the first workshop\, a Rese arch Fellow at Monash University sharing his journey in navigating the tr ansition from PhD to a successful academic career.

Since completing his PhD in late 2022\, Dr. Dalli has established himself as an emerging leader in epidemiology. He has contributed to over $3 million in research funding\, securing competitive support from the National Heart Foundatio n\, the Stroke Foundation\, and the Jack Brockhoff Foundation\, and earne d national and international honors\, including the 2025 BGRF Emerging Re searcher of the Year Award and the American Heart Association Paul Dudley White Scholar Award.
