Concerned about academic progress?

Have you received a notice from Monash University asking you to attend an academic progress hearing? If so, contact an MGA advocate.
Many students are asked to attend academic progress hearings – you are not the only one.
Don’t stress! One of our advocates will be very happy to go with you in person or by Zoom and support you.
They cannot present your case as Monash University does not allow this, but they can clarify any questions you have. If you meet in advance of the hearing, they can explain the process so you know what to expect. Our advocates will be able to tell you what you need to focus on so you can achieve the best possible outcome.
How can an MGA advocate help?
The MGA advocates encourage students to come to us with concerns about their academic progress. We have extensive experience supporting students through the process and we can help guide you through your situation, no matter how big or small.
This is a free service. The MGA is independent from the University and all matters discussed with an advocate are confidential.
