Position Available: Graduate Liaison & Research Officer

Engage, research and advocate for graduate students at Monash - help shape policies and programs that support their success!
The MGA is seeking a Graduate Liaison and Research Officer to engage with students, conduct research, and support policy development. This role involves advocacy, organising student consultations, and contributing to MGA programs and initiatives.
Your key responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between graduate students and the MGA
- Assist with research on student issues
- Organise student engagement activities and consultations
What you'll bring to the table:
- Understanding of graduate student challenges
- Experience in research, policy, or advocacy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities

You will work under the direction of the Research Manager. This position is a casual position (8-12 hours per week) until the end of 2025, and is based in the MGA Office at Caulfield campus. Some work from home and/or other campuses may be accommodated.
This position has been created as part of the MGA's graduate employment program. The position is open only to graduate students currently enrolled at Monash University Australia.
