Position Available: Accounts Payable Officer

We are looking for a casual Accounts Payable Officer to support our Finance team for 5-7 hours a week in managing payments, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring suppliers are paid on time and financial processes run efficiently.
This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a supportive not-for-profit environment. You will be mainly based at the Clayton campus.
What we're looking for:

Enrolled in a graduate degree during semester 1, 2026 relating to business, finance, or accounting.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent Excel and database entry skills.

Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, including the ability to set priorities and perform well under pressure.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero or similar) is a plus.
